INFINEON AND STAFFORD LAKE

June 28th and 29th, 2008

Make a weekend of it. Bring the family. There are hotels in the area and lots of things for the non "Car Show" person in your life. Wineries, shops, hiking, golf, etc, etc.

Saturday June 28th, NASA Pro Racing is having their weekend at infineon. We have been invited to join them for their HPDE events. Registration is directly with them at the following website.

Please register early for this event as it will sell out fast. The price of $179 is pretty good for a days event. You will need to be a member of NASA, current membership is $44. Please remember this is not a VCOA sponsored event.

Sunday June 29th, Second Annual North West Regional Show, BBQ and Swap Meet at Stafford Lake in Novato, CA. Last year was a blast. All cars are parked on the grass next to the lake. We will have a large area exclusive for our Swap meet and vendors to set up and offer their wares. A large bounce house for the kids, music, and other things to do. The BBQ will be Burgers, dogs, watermelon, and Caesar salad with various drinks. As it is looking right now the cost to enter will be $25 and include event t-shirt, parking, bbq, access to the swap meet, and hopefully some goodies.

Event Shirt Contest – Last year was a great first year shirt. This year we will have a contest to create the second year shirt artwork. We will post up the entries on the website so that you can vote on your favorite design. The winner will get the bragging rights for the year, free entry to the event and 5 shirts.

Stafford Lake has a no dog policy but we are working on special permission to have our them at the show. I was asked the following “It would help my decision if you could provide me with a little more information: Do the dogs serve a particular purpose? Do you plan any activities that include them? Are there special provisions for the care and comfort?” for those of us who would like to bring our pets can you help me out with these questions? May-b they can all wear Viking hats and serve as mascots…. Those with dogs will have to contact me so I can get a number back to the powers that be as to how many will be coming.
