10th annual show and swap meet.

Can you believe it!! 10 YEARS at Davis. Some of you may remember the first event. I think Lee told me it was rainy and cold and only about 10 people showed up. Last year over 120 cars came out to enjoy the day.

This year we are changing a few things for the event. Gone will be all the grab it raffle prizes where the “good stuff” is gone first and all that is left are items that you don’t need, can’t use, or ???. We will have several items ranging from gift certificates to a 50/50 drawing. Each item will have a separate container for you to place your raffle ticket in. this way you can enter for the item you really want not something you may not.

How will the 50/50 work? We will count the number of raffle tickets in the container, we will value each ticket as $1. 50% of that will go to the winner as a cash prize, the other 50% will go to the Chapter to cover costs of other events.

I think we will phase out the food as there are several local eateries within walking distance of the park.
